Agragami Social Welfare Foundation (ASWF)

AGRAGAMI SOCIAL WELFARE FOUNDATION (ASWF) is committed to promoting social justice, education, healthcare, and the overall well-being of underprivileged communities across Bangladesh.

The foundation’s key aims and objectives include:

  1. Charitable and Welfare Activities:
    • To undertake charitable and social welfare initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of poor, marginalized, and disadvantaged people.
  1. Educational Development:
    • To establish and operate educational institutions such as schools, colleges, and universities, and promote library and literary activities in the fields of literature, arts, and science for the general people.
  1. Emergency Relief and Support:
    • To carry out relief distribution and emergency support for poor, neglected, and disaster-affected individuals and communities.
  1. Inclusive Welfare Services:
    • To provide welfare-oriented support to all needy individuals, regardless of race, religion, or caste, including the poor, neglected, and socially disadvantaged.
  1. Rehabilitation Services:
    • To rehabilitate orphans, unemployed youth, persons with disabilities, and socially excluded individuals through care institutions, treatment, vocational training, and recreational programs.
  1. Skills and Capacity Building:
    • To provide vocational and skill development training to uneducated and semi- educated individuals to enhance their employability and self-reliance.
  1. Healthcare Services:

To ensure access to healthcare and medical services for poor and neglected people through:

  • Health and nutrition training programs.
  • Participation in government health initiatives.
  • Establishment and operation of hospitals, health centers, maternal and child health services.
  • Eye care (ophthalmology) camps and community-based health programs.
  • Free ambulance services and burial of unclaimed bodies.
  • Awareness campaigns on deadly diseases such as AIDS, STDs, and Hepatitis B, T, and E.
  1. Preventive and Awareness Programs:
    • To design and manage awareness and prevention programs targeting public health, social issues, and environmental concerns.
  1. Blood Donation and Safe Blood Banks:
    • To organize blood donation drives and establish safe and secure blood banks for emergency medical use.
  1. Literacy and Educational Advancement:

To combat illiteracy through formal and non-formal education, including:

  • Public education, adult education, and child education.
  • General and vocational training for orphans, poor and meritorious students.
  • Provision of scholarships, learning materials, and demand-driven education.
  • Promotion of religious education and moral values.
  1. Religious and Cultural Support:

To support the development of religious institutions, places of worship, cemeteries, and collaborate on cultural and community development projects.
