Legal Status

The foundation is legally registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, and is also registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau under the Prime Minister’s Office, Government of Bangladesh.

These registrations allow ASWF to work in partnership with both national and international organizations, donors, and development agencies.
